DoorHab enables individuals to take their health and wellness into their OWN hands, bringing rehab and educational resources with consistent guidance to homebound individuals. My mission is to provide quality 1:1 care to this vulnerable population; the quality care we all deserve, utilizing a fitness forward approach; with a special affinity for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. I never want my clients or their caregivers to feel left in the dark without answers. It is my mission through DoorHab to change lives and show my clients that aging does NOT mean dying; and old does NOT mean weak! Welcome Home

As a Doctor of physical therapy for 12 years, I have always found myself frustrated by the gaps in the healthcare system across the country:
- delays in starting therapy
- inconsistent scheduling due to high demand and staffing shortages fluctuating quality of care due to productivity time constraints
- frequent return of patients for the same injury
- clients who are unable to continue their exercises due to lack of equipment of direction after discharge.
- shortened visits due to excessive documentation demands
- significantly reduced access to necessary care
Through my frustrations, I brainstormed solutions. I didn’t want to quit. The mass exodus of healthcare providers since COVID has seriously affected staffing and care; I didn’t want to be part of that problem. If everyone quits, who will see the patients?! I knew with the right tools and instructions, anything can be fixed! If only my patients had more access to both...

Did you know DoorHab offers POST SURGICAL care for same day surgeries?!!? I understand how scary and overwhelming it can be coming home from a major surgery (joint replacement, rotator cuff repair, bypass, etc). And with the staffing crisis it is not always possible for an agency to come out right away (sometimes it can take WEEKS!!!) I want to be there every step of the way to make sure you get settled back in your home and that you/your family know exactly how to manage everything post surgery. I can even meet you at the surgical center and help you transfer in/out of your vehicle to avoid ANY and ALL mishaps!
